MU students hold field work in Agartala

Students of Manipur University (MU) along with their teachers conducted a five-day folklore field work programme in Agartala, Tripura.
As part of the programme, MU Manipuri Department in coordination with Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Tripura Organised a one-day national seminar on 'Manipuri folklore, culture, language and literature' at Saheed Bhagat Singh Yuba Awaaj Hall, Agartala on Friday with retired professor Ksh Rabindra Singha of Tripura University, MU associate professor Chirom Rajketan and Parishad vice president Seleibam Khelamohan Sen as presidium members.
The three technical sessions of the seminar were moderated by writer L Kumar of Tripura, Dr Wahengbam Kumari Chanu and Chirom Rajketan.
A total of 16 resource persons presented their papers during the seminar.
