HRPG condemns Bihar's Papu

Human Rights Protection Group (HRPG) has strongly condemned the act of former MP of Bihar Papu Yadav who checked Manipuris in trains going through Bihar State and even imposed bandhs in Bihar against the false belief of assaulting Biharis in Manipur during the ILPS protests.
A press release signed by secretary publicity of HRPG M Ningthem said that not a single person of any community was assaulted in demand ing ILPS in Manipur and HRPG will not remain as a silent spectator on the activities being taken up to turn Manipuris as enemies to the people of other States by spreading false news.
It appeal to the Prime Minister of India, Bihar Chief Minister and Manipur Chief Minister to take up immediate necessary actions so that unwanted incidents can be avoided.
The press release also lamented on the interference of the Mizoram CM in the internal affairs of Manipur over the three bills passed by the Manipur Legislative Assembly on August 31 last and urged the Manipur CM to let the Mizoram CM know that a CM cannot interfere in the internal matters of another State.
