24 Sainik School cadets clear NDA written exam

The result announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the National Defence Academy (NDA) brought happiness to the Sainik School, Imphal and Sainik School, Punglwa, Nagaland when 24 cadets of different batches cleared the written examination for the prestigious NDA, Khadagwasla, Pune.
As per a release by Sainik School, Imphal, 14 cadets have brought laurels to the school by clearing the NDA UPSC Written Exam for the 154/116 NDA/NA Course.
Despite all odds, the school continues to shine with monumental performance of its cadets.
SS, Imphal principal lieutenant colonel Satish Kumar Singh met the cadets and congratulated them for this achievement and motivated them to keep their focus on preparing for the upcoming SSB.
He also conveyed his gratitude to all the teachers and staff for this accomplishment, the release said.
In a separate release, PRO Defence informed that among the successful candidates of SS, Punglwa six cadets are from the current class 12th batch, namely, Sukhabo V Kiho, Ihuding Iheilung, Joy Brata Chakma, Sujal Sharma, Ekagra Ariyan, and Rahul Pradhan.
Additionally, four cadets from the previous academic year, namely, Gopal Jee Kumar, Priyangshu Kumar, Shivam Kumar and Himanshu Kumar also excelled in the examination.
The successful candidates will now appear for SSB followed by a medical examination, it added.
