Koireng-led UNLF, PREPAK-Pro, RPF condole

The Koireng-led United National Liberation Front (UNLF) and its armed wing Manipur People's Army (MPA), Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) and its armed wing People's Liberation Army (PLA), and People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak-Progressive (PREPAK-Pro) expressed deep condolences over the demise of two cadres of the KYKL and KCP and offered revolutionary salutes to the two revolutionaries who laid down their lives for the motherland recently.
In separate statements, Koireng-led UNLF's publicity secretary M Shak-Hen, RPF assistant publicity secretary Bangkim, and PREPAK-Pro assistant publicity secretary L Ningshingba, alleged that the two revolutionaries lost their lives in an encounter with Indian security forces and their proxy forces on April 25 evening along the Manipur-Myanmar border.
The deceased revolutionaries were 2nd Lt Oinam Telheiba alias Landaba (36) of Meeyamgi Yawol Laanmee (MYL), the armed wing KYKL, and L Cpl Ahanthem Bishan alias Kanglei (29) of Meeyamgi Fingang Lanmee (MFL), the armed wing of KCP.
Landaba was the son of Oinam Ranjit and Yandhabi of Uchiwa Turel Wangma, while Bishan was the son of son of A Kumarjit of Khurai Thoidingjam Leikai.
Mourning the untimely demise of the duo, the armed organisations also shared the pain and grief of the bereaved families.
As per the statements, cadres of revolutionaries fighting for restoration of the lost sovereignty of Manipur had a fierce gun-fight with Indian Occupation Force (IOF) and their proxy forces on April 25 during 2nd Lt Landaba and LCpl Ahanthem Bishan laid down their lives.
"Both Landaba and Ahanthem Bishan fought the enemies till their last blood and their supreme sacrifices for the motherland will be remembered forever by future generation," conveyed the statements while praying for peaceful repose of the departed souls of the revolutionaries.
