P Vaiphei for timely conduct of counseling session

Imphal, June 20 2015 : Higher & Technical Education Commissioner P Vaiphei assured on Saturday steps would be taken up to ensure timely conduct of career counseling for students in the coming years.

Taking part in the opening ceremony of an education fair cum counseling session at the DM College, Imphal multipurpose hall, Vaiphei added that the event will provide a big opportunity to students in choosing institutes where they want to pursue higher education.

He said this time the counseling session was being held belatedly and assured that steps would be taken up to ensure timely conduct of it in the coming years.

Vaiphei, however, warned all students to be careful about unrecognized institutes in other States which might lure them with false promises.

Higher Education Director C Arthur and Additional Director RK Yaiskul were also present during the inaugural function.
