KSO seeks permanent SSC centre in CCpur, new one in Kpi

Kpi, July 12 2025: Kuki Students' Organisation - General Headquarters (KSO-GHQ) expressed gratitude to the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for reinstating the SSC examination centre in Churachandpur district.

A delegation representing KSO, including members of KSO Delhi & NCR education department, recently met the SSC chairman in New Delhi.

During the meeting, they submitted representations from KSO-GHQ and KSO Sadar Hills.

The delegation noted that the reinstatement of the SSC Churachandpur centre significantly reduced the financial burden of long-distance travel and ensured greater access to national-level opportunities for local candidates.

While highlighting the consistent turnout of a large number of candidates from the region, the delegation appealed to the Commission to declare the Churachandpur examination centre a permanent facility and to establish a new SSC examination centre in Kangpokpi, preferably at the IT Centre, Presidency College, Motbung.

Responding to the delegation, the SSC chairman assured that a team would soon be dispatched to Kangpokpi to conduct an inquiry regarding the feasibility of establishing an SSC examination centre at Presidency College, Motbung.
