Scheme beneficiaries handed training certificates

The Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS), Thoubal distributed certificates to beneficiaries of the PM Vishwakarma scheme during a programme held at WWAGS central hall, Wangjing in Thoubal district on Saturday.
The programme was attended by WWAGS chief advisor KI Meitei as chief guest and JSS Thoubal chairman Nepram Kunjo Singh as president while Wangjing Lamding Municipal Council Ward (WLMC) No 5 councillor Narengbam Binoy, Ward No.6 councillor Heikrujam Gourango Singh, Ward No.3 councillor Yumnam Ibopishak, associate professor L Jelshyam Singh of Thoubal College, and WWAGS general secretary L Premananda Singh were present as guests of honour.
In his keynote address, JSS, Ihoubal director Karanjeet Laishram emphasised the critical need for sub stantial skill pool in India to overcome poverty and unemployment issues and thanked the government of India for providing essential infrastructure to tackle these societal challenges effectively.
Other dignitaries, who spoke at the event, extended their congratulations to the Vishwakarma beneficiaries and commended the efforts of JSS, Thoubal in imparting valuable skills, acknowledging positive impact on the lives of the beneficiaries.
They also motivated the recipients to utilise their acquired skills for personal growth and national development.
