MEELAL Meitei Mayek test result declared

Imphal, May 11 2009: The Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillon Apunba Lup, Kangleipak (MEELAL) has declared the result of the test conducted by MEELAL to test the vocabulary of the real language of the state Meeteilol on April 26 last in a press release signed by its Secretary Publicity KC Khuman today.

Moirangmayum Romesh of Mayang Imphal Maibam, Phuritsabam Mangalleima of Sekmaijing Mayai Leikai and Maibam Thoibi of Tentha scored the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively.

The prizes distribution function of the examination will be held at Kangla Hall on May 18 along with a function commemorating the day when Meetei Mayek was first introduced at schools after an agreement between the state government and MEELAL.

Education Minister L Jayantakumar, Chairman of MEELAL Ng Yumjao and IFCD/YAS Minister N Biren will grace the function as chief guest, president and guest of honor respectively.
