Kiran Bedi to visit Imphal on July 2

Imphal, June 29 2014:
Dr Kiran Bedi, India's first Woman IPS officer, would be visiting Imphal on July 2 to distribute scholarships to the needy and deserving students of Manipur during the 'Scholarship Mela' to be organized by Chandigarh based Aryans Group of Colleges.
Informing that Dr.Bedi would give Scholarship Letters at Gandhi Memorial Hall in Imphal, the Coordinator of Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh, Mr.Himanshu said that students can apply for scholarships in various courses like B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, Nursing, Polytechnic, BA, B.Com and B.Sc (Agri) .

Amanpreet Singh, Coordinator, Aryans Group said that in the wake of inadequate educational opportunities for the students of the North-Eastern states of the country, Aryans Group would provide scholarships in various courses offered in Aryans Group to the deserving bright and underprivileged students hailing from NE states.
Nitin, Coordinator of Aryans Group added that Aryans Group would be organizing "Scholarship Mela" for the deserving students who are not financially strong, while adding that under this scheme, scholarships are given purely on Merit-cum-Means basis and it will be partially funded by the Bank, partially by the Student and partially by College.
Established in 2007, Aryans campus is located on Chandigarh�Patiala highway, near Chandigarh and has lush green 20 acres pollution free campus, the release stated, adding that Aryans Group has been serving the educational and intellectual interests of the youth in a commendable manner.
