Imphal, September 15 2025: Manipur Technical University (MTU) in collaboration with Nikon India organised a 1-Day Photography Workshop at Lions Service Centre, Sangaiprou today.

The workshop was followed by a photo walk at ISKCON Temple Complex.

As per a release issued by MTU, the workshop was designed to prod students into undertaking extra-curricular activities that stimulate their comprehensive development.

In addition to MTU students, the workshop also witnessed active participation from staff, faculty, and a few keen photographers from across the State.

Notably, MTU is one of the rare institutions in the area that provides a Liberal Learning Course (LLC), in which staff members impart their knowledge and interests like photography, music, interior design, stress management, and many more, giving students a chance to gain learning outside of regular academics.

The day ended with a festive Engineers' Day celebration, where students and staff came together for a cake-cutting ceremony, providing a nostalgic ring to the occasion.
