Assam Rifles extends hand of friendship to Kangpokpi CSOs under Operation Sadbhavana

In a powerful gesture of solidarity and grassroots development, the Assam Rifles, under its flagship civic initiative Operation Sadbhavana distributed a comprehensive set of study and office-use essentials to the Kuki Inpi, the apex governing body of the Kuki tribes at a ceremony held at the Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills Office at Kangpokpi District Headquarters.
The event reflected the Assam Rifles' unwavering commitment to peace-building, education, and administrative empowerment in Manipur's tribal heartlands.
The donation package included a high-performance computer set, multifunction printer, inverter with backup battery, and ergonomic furniture, all designed to strengthen Kuki Inpi's digital and administrative infrastructure.
The assistance is expected to enhance documentation, community coordination, and educational outreach across Kuki areas.
Brigadier Ananya Boral, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the 9 Sector Assam Rifles, and Colonel Radha Krishan.
Commandant of the 33rd Battalion Assam Rifles, were warmly received with traditional shawls by Kuki CSO's leaders in a display of mutual respect and cultural unity.
In his address, Brigadier Boral highlighted the human-centric mission of Operation Sadbhavana.
"Assam Rifles stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the people of Manipur - not just as protectors of peace, but as partners in progress.
These donations are investments in empowerment, education, and self-reliance for our tribal brothers and sisters", he asserted.
A symbolic handover ceremony marked the formal transfer of the donated equipment, with Brigadier Boral presenting a certificate to the Speaker of Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills Thanglensei Kipgen in the presence of KWU Sadar Hills and KSO Sadar Hills representatives.
The event concluded with a group photograph and light refreshments, celebrating the renewed spirit of partnership.
