Imphal, May 11 2009: Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol, Manipur has conducted an emergency meeting of all the members of its head quarter today at its head office today evening at Keishampat.

President of CADA head office, Keisam Taruni presided over the meeting as stated a press release of CADA.

The meeting resolved to withdraw its Finance Secretary, Sanasam Ibohanbi and volunteer Naorem Nikolash who were arrested by the Imphal West Police in the charge of having relation with the proscribed UNLF outfit from the membership of CADA until and unless the claim against them is confirmed.

The meeting also resolved to strengthen the resolution mentioned in the constitution of CADA regarding any member of CADA should not involve in any private or illegal activities which is not related to the principal of CADA which is to control substance abuse in the state society in coalition with the public.
