Joint attacks of ULFA (I) and RPF: Roben

Secretary Publicity of the proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) Roben Khuman has claimed that various incidents of bomb blasts which took place in different parts of Manipur and Assam in the run up to the Republic Day celebration of India on January 26 were carried out jointly by RPF and ULFA (I) in connection with the joint decision of CorCom, Kamatapur Liberation Organization, National Democratic Front of Boroland (S) and United Liberation Front of Asom(I) to boycott India's Republic Day Celebration in WESEA region.
Accordingly, RPF and ULFA(I) jointly planted the bombs near Khurai Lamlong bridge in the morning of January 20; at the crematorium complex of Nagamapal Singjubung Leirak in the morning of January 21; at the western side of Nambul river bank at Keishamthong Laisom Leirak in the afternoon of January 23; at Nambul river bank near Sagolband Meino Leirak as well as at the bank of Imphal river just adjacent to Yaiskul Firing Range in the morning of January 24; at the bank of Nambul river bank near Keishamthong Moirang Ningthou crossing in the morning of January 25 as well as near the crematorium at Khuyathong Pukhri Achouba, at the bank of Imphal river near Hicham Yaichampat at Yaiskul, at the bank of Imphal river at Hatta Golapati under Porompat Police Station, at the bank of Imphal river near KR Lane, at the field of Wangjing Purana Heitup Pokpi Mamang Leikai under Thoubal Police Station, near DC office under Bishnupur Police Station and at a couple of places n Digboi town of Tinsukia district Assam in the morning of January 26, Roben said.
In addition to this, two AR jawans were killed in a bomb triggered near the camp of 27 Sector AR at Torbung Bangla under Churachandpur police station in the morning of January 22, Roben claimed.
