Imphal, September 15 2025: The fort-night-long observance of "Swachhata Pakhwada 2025" organisedbyEkBharatShreshtha Bharat (EBSB) Cell, Manipur University concluded today at the Senate Hall of Earth Science Department, Manipur University, Imphal.

The valedictory ceremony was graced by Prof N Lokendra, Vice Chancellor, Manipur University; Dr Kh Robindro, Nodal Officer.

EBSB Cell; Prof M Premjit, Registrar; and renowned actress Tonthoingambi Leishangthem as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kh Robindro said that as per the direction of the Central Government, the Swachhata Pakhwada 2025 was observed from September 1-15, 2025 with active participation from the university community.

He asserted that the Pakhwada featured IEC campaign, Swachhata Pledge, Swachhata Rally, cleanliness drives, painting competition and other activities aimed at fostering a culture of cleanliness and sustainability.

As part of the event, prizes were distributed to the winners of the competitions held during the Swachhata Pakhwada 2025 .
