Imphal, January 19 2026: A condolence meeting was held today at Wangoo Mamang Sabal, Kakching district to mourn the untimely demise of Sanasam Naba, former Pradhan of Wangoo Gram Panchayat and incumbent caretaker chairperson of the Wangoo Gram Panchayat.

The condolence meeting was organised by the BJP Sugnu Mandal and was attended by BJP Kakching district president Ksh Indubala; Ex BJP candidate of Sugnu Assembly Constituency, M Binod; BJP Sugnu Mandal president M Nabachandra; and Wangoo Zilla Parishad member S Brojen, among others.

During the programme, the gathering paid floral tributes to the portrait of the late Sanasam Naba and observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul.

Speakers recalled his contributions to the local body and his service to the people, and expressed condolences to the bereaved family, praying for eternal peace of the departed soul.
