Imphal, September 15 2025: Shija Hospitals, in collaboration with Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi, Manipur, and Helping Hands for People, Manipur, successfully organised a free medical and voluntary blood donation camp at Kanglatongbi today.

As per a release issued by Shija Hospitals, the camp aimed to provide accessible healthcare services to the local community while promoting awareness of the importance of voluntary blood, donation.

Expert medical professionals from Shija Hospitals and its affiliated units offered consultations across multiple specialties, including dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology, dentistry, transfusion medicine, general surgery, general medicine, and ophthalmology.

The medical team included consultants from Shija Hospitals, Dr Anupama Wahengbam in Dermatology, Dr Mrinalini Lukram in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr S Hemabati in Transfilsion Medic ine, along with specialists from General Surgery and Shija Eye Care Foundation, and Dr Prakash Dahal, Consultant Dentist from Shija City Dental Hospital.

During the camp, a total of 21 individuals donated blood, while patients were screened in various departments, including 40 in dental, 100 in eye care, 41 in gynecology, 41 in general surgery, 60 in dermatology, and 67 in general medicine.
