Imphal, September 15 2025: The election of office bearers, class representatives of all departments/centres and representatives of PhD scholars to the Manipur University Students' Union (MUSU) for the 2025-2026 tenure will be held on September 23 .

According to a press release issued by Laishram Santosh Singh, Returning Officer, MUSU Election 2025-2026, the last date for filing of nomination forms has been fixed on September 19 (upto 5 pm).

Scrutiny of the nomination forms will be conducted on September 20 at 11 am at the Centenary Hall of MU.

Candidates can withdraw their nomination forms until 5 pm of September 20 from the Office of the Returning Officer.

The poll will be conducted from 8 am to 12 noon at the Old Social Sciences Block, MU on September 23 .

Counting of votes has been scheduled for the same day at 1.30 pm at Dr Kamal Indoor Stadium.

Election results will be declared immediately after the counting of votes concludes, added the press release.
