Imphal, May 04, 2013: M Z Chamthui, Under Secretary (DP) has issued an order on Friday announcing the link and alternate link officers for IAS officers.

Accordingly, VK Thakral and Dr J Suresh Babu have been appointed as link and alternate link officers respectively of P C Lawmkung; J C Ramthanga as Link Officer and Barun Mitra as Alternate Link Officer of VK Thakral; Barun Mitra as Link Officer and VK Thakral as Alternate Link Officer for R R Rashmi; Nikhilesh Jha as Link Officer and W L Hangshing as Alternate Link Officer for O Nabakishore Singh; J C Ramthanga as Link Officer and S K Dev Verman as Alternate Link Officer for Nikhilesh Jha; Ram Muivah as Link Officer and L Lakher as Alternate Link Officer for W L Hangshing; Dr Suhel Akhtar as Link Officer and W L Hangshing as Alternate Link Officer for Ram Muivah; Dr Suresh Babu as Link Officer and SK Dev Varman as Alternate Link Officer for Dr Suhel Akhtar; VK Thakral (for Home Department), K Moses Chalai (for Edu-S) as Link Officers and Barun Mitra (for Home Department), Ram Muivah (for Edu-S) as Alternate Link Officers for Dr J Suresh Babu; RR Rashmi as Link Officer and Nikhilesh Jha as Alternate Link Officer for Barun Mitra; S Sunderlal Singh as Link Officer and Dr Suhel Akhtar as Alternate Link Officer for Dr Rajesh Kumar; W L Hangsing as Link Officer and K Moses Chalai as Alternate Link Officer for SK Dev Verman; SK Ved Verman as Link Officer and K Kakher as Alternate Link Officer for Letkhogin Haokip; J C Ramthang as Link Officer and Norbert Disinang as Alternate Link Officer for L Lakher; K Moses Chalai as Link Officer and P Vaiphei as Alternate Link Officer for J C Ramthanga; Dr Suhel Akhtar as Link Officer and P Vaiphei as Alternate Link Officer for K Moses Chalai; S Sunderlal Singh as Link Officer and W L Hangsing as Alternate Link Officer fort Dr RK Nimai Singh (Art & Culture/YAS); Dr J Suresh Babu as Link Officer and K Moses Chalai as Alternate Link Officer for P Vaiphei; Norbert Disinang as Link Officer and Y Thamkishore Singh as Alternate Link Officer for Y Jugindro Singh; Y Thamkishore Singh as Link Officer and Norbert Disinang as Alternate Link Officer for S Sunderlal Singh; Dr Rajesh Kumar as Link Officer and Barun Mitra as Alternate Officer for Rajesh Agarwal; Y Thamkishore Singh as Link Officer and K Moses as Alternate Link Officer for Norbert Disinang.

It also informed that officers should intimate their Link Officer or Alternate Link Officer, in the absence of their Link Officer, about the detail of their leave/tour/training etc in writing before proceeding on such leave/tour/ training etc.

Moreover, the officer should also ensure that the personal staff attached to his office attend office during his absence and availability of their services to the Link/Alternate Link Officers so that the work of the departments assigned to the officer are not dislocated due to the absence of the officer.

While, the concerned Link and Alternate Link Officer is away on leave/tour/training etc the officer shall ask the Department of Personnel to issue specific order.
