Imphal, September 15 2025: Police have arrested one individual in connection with the missing case of Md Rizwan Khan (23) of Lilong Tairen Makhong, Thoubal whose corpse was retrieved from Imphal Ri ver near Mayang Imphal.

The arrested individual has been identified as Md Farijuddin (43) alias Sana of Lilong Leihaokhong.

Meanwhile, security forces seized a cache of arms and ammunition from Kongba Maru hill range and its surrounding areas under Sagolmang police station in Imphal East.

The seized items include one.5.6mm INSAS rifle with a magazine, one 9mm pistol with a magazine, two .303 rifles with a magazine, one 12 bore single barrel gun, 11 live ammunition of different calibre and five live cartridges.
