Free Children's Heart Screening Camp concludes at SKY Hospital

Imphal, July 21 2026: SKY Hospital & Research Centre Pvt Ltd has successfully concluded its six-day Free Heart OPD and Echo Screening Camp for children in Imphal.

Held from July 13 to 18, 2026, the camp aimed at early detection of congenital heart defects among children in Manipur.

A total of 14 children availed free OPD consultations and echocardiography during the camp.

Children diagnosed with birth heart defects will be provided appropriate treatment in the coming days, the hospital stated.

Dr Shyamkishore Lairikyengbam, Chief Cardiologist, expressed satisfaction with the turnout and impact.

He underlined the need for regular screening to safeguard child health and urged the public to take advantage of similar free camps organized by SKY Hospital onsite and in various districts.

Reiterating its commitment, SKY Hospital said it will continue efforts to ensure accessible, timely and quality cardiac care for children across the State.
