3-day workshop on Hospital and Wildlife Tourism kicks off

A three-day capacity building workshop on Hospitality, Wildlife Tourism & Nature Camp kicked off today at Sarik Konjil Government High School in Kakching district today.
The programme has been organised by the Thoubal Forest Division under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme.
The inaugural programme was attended by Divisional Forest Officer Thoubal, Dr Leishangthem Jeeceelee; Range Forest Officer Kakching, Huidrom Sundar; Beat Officer Waikhong, Naorem Brojen; Beat Officer Wangoo Lamkhai, Longjam Ramananda; Beat Officer N Bikram; along with other Forest staff and officials.
The workshop, which has drawn 45 participants, is aimed at strengthening skills in hospitality and eco-tourism.
It features training by experts including Khoyumthem Brajeshkumar, president of Wildlife Explorer Manipur; H Radha Krishna Sharma Managing Partner of Seven Sisters Holidays Manipur; Dr Kangabam Romeo, director of Meetei National Adventure Foundation Manipur; and Sarungbam Ruhikumar Singh, State Programme Implementing Unit (SPIU) Ramp Team member as resource persons.
