Noney, September 27 2025: The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) has strongly condemned what it termed the "deliberate misuse of the name ZUF by the so-called faction that had merged into NSCN-Unification" .

In a press release, ZUF stated that on October 26, 2019, the group led by S Kamson publicly declared its dissolution, ceasing to exist under the name ZUF and merging into NSCN-Unification.

"Having forfeited its identity, the group holds no authority whatsoever to use the name ZUF-neither within NSCN-Unification", maintained the statement.

ZUF accused Hemsinpou Kamson and Dinhemlung, who allegedly joined NSCN-IM recently, of taking advantage of the defection and reportedly misleading the public by tagging the name ZUF to them and issuing statements in local newspaper by the NSCN-IM as ZUF had joined NSCN-IM .

Terming this a distortion of facts and a calculated attempt to confuse the people, ZUF stated that individuals who dissolved their identity as ZUF in 2019 cannot represent or act on behalf of the organization.

Under such circumstances, ZUF has urged the public to not be misled by "such baseless and distorted information" and remain vigilant.
