Moirangthem Netalion presents research at IACCP 2026, Belgium

Manipur scholar Moirangthem Netalion (Toyai) has brought laurels to the State and the Nation after presenting his research at the prestigious IACCP 2026 Conference held at KU Leuven, Belgium from July 14 to 18 .
A recent postgraduate in Psychology from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Netalion presented a paper titled "Rethinking Integration: Identity, Acculturation, and Adaptation in Ethnic Conflict among the Meitei and Kuki-Zo Communities in Manipur" .
The study offers a psychological analysis of Manipur's current sociopolitical situation and was conducted under the supervision of Dr Shabana Bano and Dr Chiinngaikim Guite at BHU.
Netalion, who is awaiting admission to the doctoral programme at BHU, is the second son of renowned folk lyricist Moirangthem Indrajit Moirang (MM Meiraba) and Moirangthem Ongbi Khuraijam Sundari Leima.
The family hails from Ething Sendra Chingkhong, Bishnupur, and resides at Uripok Sorbon Thingel, Imphal West.
His achievement has earned widespread appreciation and pride across Manipur.
