Imphal, November 12 2025: Union Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways Ajay Tamta called on Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan, Imphal this evening to discuss road connectivity and ongoing projects of the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL).

The meeting focused on strengthening road connectivity across the State including hilly and interior regions, as per a statement issued by the Governor's Secretariat.

They discussed various ongoing road development projects being implemented by NHIDCL and their role in improving access, facilitating trade, and boosting economic growth.

Both emphasized the need for timely completion of these projects to enhance connectivity and bring balanced development across Manipur.

The Minister also briefed the Governor about his visit to Pherzawl district today.

The Union MoS is on a three-day visit to Manipur.
