Noney, August 01 2024: A distribution programme for benefits of Van Dhan Vikas Kendra to the eligible beneficiaries of Noney district was held today at Longmai Part 3 Multipurpose hall organised by Noney Forest Division.

It may be noted that Van Dhan Vikas Kendra was established with the primary objective to provide training on skill upgradation and capacity building to help in setting up facilities for primary processing and value addition.

The programme was graced by Deputy Commissioner Noney, Sharath Chandra Arroju, IAS; Superintendent of Police In-charge of Noney Namsadai Peter and Divisional Forest Officer DFO Noney as the presidium members.

The benefits were provided to 75 Self Help Groups (SHGs) of Van Dhan Vikas Kendras of Tupul, Lubanglong, Namkaolong, Goitang and Gaengluan under Noney Forest Division.

The beneficiaries also expressed gratitude to Noney Forest Division for timely distribution of the benefits.
