MLA Sarat withdraws petition against MLA Shyam Kumar

Trinamool MLA K Sarat today pleaded with the Assembly Speaker's tribunal that he would like to withdraw the petition seeking disqualification of party president Th Shyamkumar from MLAship, but the tribunal fixed November 15 to take a decision in this regard.
Meanwhile, the hearing of the petition filed by Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress Committee (MPTCC) Th Shyamkumar for disqualifying four party MLAs was continued in Speaker Th Lokeshore's tribunal.
The hearing was conducted in the chamber of the Speaker, Manipur Legislative Assembly complex.
MLA Sarat recently filed a petition in the tribunal for disqualifying Th Shyamkumar on the charge of indulging in anti-party activities, but the lawyer appearing for MLA requested the Speaker on Tuesday that his client would like to withdraw the petition.
The Speaker then fixed November 15 to decide the matter.
However, hearing on another petition filed by former state Trinamool president in-charge Kim Gangte in the Speaker's tribunal for disqualifying party MLA I Ibohalbi has been fixed for November 13, sources said.
