RIMS Imphal calls for short films

Imphal, May 06 2026: The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, will hold a State-Level Short Documentary Film Competition on "Cleanliness, Responsibility and Behaviour Change" as part of Swachhata Pakhawada 2026 .

The competition aims to raise awareness on sanitation and public health through documentary films.

In a release, RIMS said the initiative promotes behaviour change and healthy sanitation practices.

Films must be 4 to 5 minutes long, in Full HD with English subtitles.

Entries will be judged on theme relevance, originality, accuracy and impact.

The top three films will receive Rs 20,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 .

Two consolation prizes of Rs 5,000 each will also be given.

All valid entries will get certificates.

Submissions can be made at https://freeflynortheast.com/rims-short-film-competition or at the office of the Nodal Officer, Kaya Kalp/SAP, RIMS, Imphal.

The event is part of Swachhata Pakhawada observed from April 1 to 15 .

RIMS has invited students from across the State to participate.
