DC reaches out to displaced persons

In continuous efforts to bring comfort and extend solidarity to the violence affected people, especially during Christmas, a time for community bonding and compassion, Churachandpur deputy commissioner (DC) Dharun Kumar reached out to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) in relief camps on Wednesday.
Demonstrating the true spirit of the season -showing that these individuals are not forgotten and remain an integral part of the larger community, the DC distributed various items as gifts to not only provide emotional support but also reinforce sense of belongingness amidst the challenges they face.
It also demonstrated the district administration's commitment to addressing outstanding issues and standing together, especially during difficult times, to ensure no one feels abandoned or isolated.
He visited relief camps set up at Sadbhavna Mandap under Tuibong subdivision, Youth Hostel under Churachandpur subdivision and SDO Saikot office premises, and distributed blankets, thermo-flask, torchlight, edible items, etc.
By extending warm Christmas wishes and expressing hope for a better New Year, DC Dharun Kumar highlighted the shared aspiration for peace, unity, and normalcy.
His message resonated deeply with those affected by displacement, providing a beacon of hope amidst their struggles.
