JNV Umathel PTC holds meeting, organises plantation drive

A joint meeting of the Parent-Teacher Council (PTC) of Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Umathel, a PMSHRI School under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, was held on Tuesday, followed by a plantation drive on the school campus.
The meeting was presided over by Principal Atom Kirankumar, who is also the chairman of the PTC.
Discussions focused on strengthening the relationship between parents and students and various measures for the overall development of the school.
Following the meeting, PTC members planted several saplings in the surrounding areas of A-Block as part of the Eco Clubs for Mission Life-Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 3.0" initiative.
The plantation drive, led by PTC chairman Atom Kirankumar, was attended by PTC secretary Kh Biren Singh, Physics Lecturer Paki, and other PTC members, including P Anita Chanu, K Lanchenbi, N Nandarani, H Shivnanda Sharma, Md Zafer Ali and K Phalguni Sharma, among others.
Students also actively participated in the plantation programme.
