As a part of the undergoing academic campaign conducted by the Manipur Students' Federation (MSF) on the theme of "Eikhoi Lairik Ningthina Tamshi", volunteers of a special inspection team of MSF found a graduate teacher Sarita Rani Rai of Ch Iboyai High School, Singjamei Bachaspati Leikai signing her attendance for 35 days in the previous month said the convener of special investigation team, L Rojit in a press meet.
He further said that there were 28 teaching staffs including a craftsman teacher in the school.
One N Iboyaima a teacher of vocational courses was also found attending the school despite no vocational course opened in the school.
There was not any Head Master or Head Master in Charge of the school while eight out of the 28 teachers were found very irregular in attendance.
Arts graduate teacher S Bimola, Ksh Manaobi, Th Priyabati, S Promila and Science graduate teachers L Ibemhal and O Manaoton were among the most irregular teachers of the school.
Surprisingly, only four students were found admitted in the school.
He said that all the mentioned teachers of the school are asked to visit at the head office of MSF for mutual discussion on the matter within three days and also warned to take up appropriate action against them in association with the related authorities against them in case they failed to turn up.
MSF will continue its campaign and also look into the matter of availability of books under the scheme of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.
MSF will also check the availability of mid day meals in all the lower primary schools said Amarjit.
