Senapati, June 14 2024: In a significant event held at Maram Garrison, the Assam Rifles organized a Mega Ex-servicemen Rally today drawing participation from over seven hundred ex-service-men and Veer Naris from Senapati and Kangpokpi districts.

The rally aimed to honour the contributions of these brave individuals and address their grievances.

Commander of the Jwalamukhi Sector Assam Rifles presided over the event felicitating gallantry awardees and Veer Naris.

In a gesture of support and appreciation, wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, spectacles and various gifts were distributed.

A key feature of the rally was the establishment of a Grievances Redressal Cell which included representatives from HQ DGAR, Army Record Branch, ECHS, Civil Administration, police officers and representatives from SBI and HDFC Bank.

This initiative aimed to address and resolve the concerns of ex-servicemen efficiently.

Additionally, a medical camp with specialist doctors and CSD facilities were set up providing essential healthcare and support services to the attendees.

During his address, Commander Jwalamukhi Sector, Assam Rifles reaffirmed the commitment of Assam Rifles to support the ex-servicemen and widows.
