Andro Cultural Museum inaugurated

Minister of MAHUD, Town Planning, Forests and Environment and Horticulture and Soil Conservation, Thounaojam Shyamkumar today said that development work will be taken up by the Departments under him to give equal opportunities to all the districts.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the Andro Cultural Museum constructed at the cost of Rs 10 lakh under the Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scherhe (MPLADS) 2015-2016 at the premises of the Andro Pana Loisang, Imphal East.
Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Shyamkumar spoke regarding the development plans in the constituency.
He also appreciated MP Dr Thokchom Meinya for funding for the construction of the museum.
MP Meinya in his presidential speech lauded the hard working people of the constituency.
He said the fund contribution by the Andro Pana which was a great help in finishing the construction of the museum shows the eagerness of the people to take part in developmental process.
As the tourism sector is booming in the State, more cultural heritage sites Can be constructed with proper planning to attract tourists, he said.
