On the 16th anniversary rising day, the Peoples' United Liberation Front (PULF) leader MI Khan has appealed to eschew the ideology of division among all the members of the group while arguing that division into smaller factions is not an indication to achieve the goal.
A press statement on the 16th anniversary of the organisation issued by its publicity secretary Anish Khan conveys that the party leader MI Khan has announced the party's policies and programmes to be implemented within the current year while also counting the achievements of the party in the previous year.
The maintenance of the party's record, executing works in accordance with the party's rule, implementation of a permanent funding policy, implementation of cadres' welfare programme, obliging students to wear 'phanek' or salwar in educational institutions, publishing the party's annual publication 'Lamjing Meira,' initiating a process for the construction of Majid in Sajiwa Central Jail are some of the feats the party had achieved during the previous year, it stated.
The statement added that to open new training camps in India and abroad, providing awareness scheme to enable children to study at least till class X, initiating village and cottage industry scheme to supplement the income of Muslim women, to control the Islamic youths from indulging in intoxicants according to Islam laws, to improve Masjids, Madrasas, and 'Yetim Khana,' implementing health scheme, and to announce economic development plan for the Muslim community are some of the policies and programme the outfit is targeting to fulfill.
Unfurling of the party's flag at various places of the state, arranging special programme for the departed cadres and officers of the party and praying for their souls to rest on the lap of Allah, and holding of other programmes to fulfill the wishes of the two departed founding members of the party � Bashir Lasker (Amuthi) and Safi (Mutebir), a distributing sweets and stationery items to students, rewarding the cadres, marked the anniversary observance of PULF, it stated.
MI Khan also called for the people to live in peace irrespective of various differences, the statement conveyed.
