CRPF conducts Civic Action Programme

Imphal, January 11 2025:
The 152 Battalion CRPF, under the aegis of the IG, Manipur and Nagaland Sector, CRPF, conducted a Civic Action Programme at Nongthonband village, Imphal West district on Saturday.
The programme was attended by Love Kumar, PMG, Commandant, 152 Bn CRPF as the chief guest, said a release issued by CRPF.
Suresh Kumar, 2IC; Sunil, OC of C/152; Jasmat Kumar OC E/152; Th Mema Devi OC D/152 Bn; other personnel of the Unit and people of Nongthonband and nearby villages were also present at the event.
As part of the programme; 152 Bn CRPF distributed blankets to the needy people of the area.
The Battalion also organised a Free Medical Camp wherein free health examination and consultation were provided to the people of the area.
Free medicines were also provided to those in need.
At the event, Love Kumar highlighted the inherent spirit of the Civic Action Programme as a welfare measure for local people and assured that they would continue to carry out similar programmes in the future.
Earlier, the Unit carried out Civic Action Programmes in Tairenpokpi, Khongnangpokpi, Kanglatongbi and Kanto Sabal villages in which water storage tanks, mosquito nets, sports and stationery items were distributed to the villagers.
The welfare measures undertaken by 152 Bn, CRPF, Imphal West were appreciated by the village chief and residents of the area.
