Konsakhul VA reaffirms support for UNC

Senapati, June 08 2025: The Konsakhul Village Authority has issued a clarification regarding an earlier press statement, citing a miscommunication in their June 3 release related to the deeply distressing incidents that have shaken their community.

In a statement released issued by its media cell, the village authority sought to reaffirm its commitment to peace and unity, expressing "unwavering faith" in the leadership of the United Naga Council (UNC) .

The authority extended its "full support and sincere blessings" to the UNC as it navigates efforts to resolve the Konsakhul-Leilon Vaiphei dispute.

"We stand united in our commitment to uphold the values and aspirations of our people," the statement read.

"We reaffirm our steadfast allegiance and loyalty to the United Naga Council (UNC), the beacon of hope and the torchbearer of Naga unity, dignity, and self-determination".

The statement underscores the village's patriotic stance and calls for a peaceful and amicable resolution to the tensions that have affected the region in recent days.
