Guwahati, June 14 2025: The 6-day workshop on "Preparation of Manipuri course materials in Meetei Mayek" organised by the North Eastern Regional Language Centre, Guwahati concluded today at the conference hall of Hotel Parshuram in Guwahati.

The workshop began on June 9.The valedictory ceremony was attended by Dr Amorn Nandaraj Meetei, lecturer cum resource person, LDCIL, Centre Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysuru as the chief guest; Dr Hidam Dolen Singh, senior lecturer, NERLC, Guwahati as the functional president and Dr Nongmaithem Pritamkumar Singh, HoD, Department of Linguistics, Naorem Birahari College, Khundrakpam as the guest of honour.

Notably, Dr Irom Robindro, Dr Wahengbam Saritarani Devi, Dr Sujeta Beishamayum, Dr Nongmaithem Pritamkumar Singh, Dr Loitongbam Sarankumari Devi, Dr Sapam Sangita Chanu, Dr Thaodem Romen Meitei, Dr Laishram Lenin Singh and Thounaojam Linthoingambi Devi graced the event as resource persons.
