Imphal, June 09 2025:
Arambai Tenggol has categorically stated that it has nothing to do with the incident of firing on security forces at Tera Sapam Leikai.
In a statement, Arambai Tenggol Control Room operator Laishram Robason reiterated that it is not involved in the incident, while opining that the shots might have been fired to mislead the public on the ongoing democratic protest led by the AT .
While appealing to all concerned not to repeat such acts, Robason also called for joint democratic protests rather than vandalising vehicles, and further clarified that AT has no intention to meet the MLAs on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, making it clear that the 10-day bandh excludes essential and health services, including water supply, and religious events/rituals, Arambai Tenggol has urged the agitation supporters to respect the medical professionals and those involved in essential services.
The group, however, clarified that the bandh will continue, with restrictions still in place for government services, schools, colleges, shops, offices, and other public establishments.
