Imphal, May 31 2025:
A contingent of 37 cadets and 2 staff from Sainik School Imphal had a momentous opportunity to witness the Passing Out Parade (POP) of the 146th course at the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, on Friday.
The event was graced by Gen VK Singh (retired), Governor of Mizoram as the chief guest.
As per a release issued by Sainik School Imphal, the Passing Out Parade of NDA is one of the most iconic and ceremonious military events, reflecting the valour, discipline, and dedication of the cadets completing their three years of rigorous training.
For the visiting cadets of Sainik School Imphal, the experience served as a profound inspiration and a reaffirmation of their own aspiration to join the Armed Forces.
During the visit, the cadets had the opportunity to interact with NDA officers and fellow Sainik School Imphal alumni currently undergoing training at the academy.
These interactions provided valuable insights into the life, challenges, and commitment required to succeed in the defence services.
Notably, the school had undertaken tremendous efforts to get a slot for its cadets to witness this much acclaimed and sought after parade.
