Body to be disposed of

Imphal, April 29 2025:
The mortal remains of a person identified as Lambu Yadav (47) which have been lying at JNIMS Mortuary for some time will be disposed of if nobody claims it by May 2, said Imphal police today.
A native of Bihar, Lambu Yadav alias Baliram Yadav was the son of Sugand Yadav.
He was staying at a rented house at Khwai Brahmapur Nagamapal.
He was found unconscious on April 16 at the locality, and the police brought him to RIMS Hospital, where he was declared dead by the doctors.
He was a mason by profession.
The body is being kept at JNIMS Mortuary.
So far, no one has claimed the body.
The body will be disposed off by obtaining an order from the District Magistrate Imphal West if no one claims it by May 2, said the police.
Description: The deceased is about 5.8 feet tall and has brown complexion, slim built and has short black hair.
He was wearing one grey formal trouser and a white nylon T shirt, said the police.
