Kakching, September 27 2025: As part of the Sewa Parv initiative, Manipur State Kala Akademi (MSKA) Imphal conducted a "Meet the Writer" programme at the auditorium of Library and Information Centre Kakching, Kakching Phousupat Leikai today.

At the event, Sahitya Akademi Awardee Professor Sagolshem Lanchenba Meetei spoke at length about literature and its importance in front of a gathering of students and teachers from Langmeidong Higher Secondary School, Wabagai Higher Secondary School, Kakching Higher Secondary School, kakching Model School, Kakching Public School, Padma Ratna English School, Grace Cottage Cultural and Educational Foundation Kakching as well as literary enthusiasts.

Sunanda Thokchom, secretary, MSKA was also present at the event.
