Imphal, May 26 2025: In connection with the observance of National Memorial Day, students from the Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS) visited the historic Shangshak War Memorial in Shanshak village, Kamjong district on Monday. The visit organised to instil a sense of patriotism and historical awareness among the younger generation was participated by 38 students and two teachers.

The programme included a guided tour of the Shangshak War Memorial, where they were briefed about the significance and relevance of the valiant sacrifices made by Indian soldiers and civilians during the Battle of Shangshak during World War II .

The students paid their respects at the memorial and participated in an interactive session.
