Imphal, October 19 2024: The 45th Foundation Day of Liberal College was celebrated today at its Multipurpose Hall in Luwangsangbam, Imphal East.

The observation organised by Liberal College Foundation Day Celebration Committee began with the offering of floral tributes to founder members of the college.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof N Sanjoy Singh, Principal of Liberal College, recalled the sacrifices and contributions made by the founder members to establish the college in Luwangsangbam.

He asserted that the Liberal College, established in the year 1979, is the outcome of a long cherished will and desire of the people in the area.

He continued that the college is affiliated to the Manipur University, Canchipur and is recognised by the Council of Higher Education, Manipur.

As part of the Foundation Day celebration, a Central Instrumentation Laboratory was opened at the college.

Meritorious students of the college who secured good marks in examinations conducted by Manipur University were also felicitated.

Notably dignitaries including Liberal College founder secretary N Yaima and Y Mangi were present at the event.
