KPKBs opened at Senapati, Bishnupur

As per directive from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, a Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar was opened at BCoy, 109 Battalion, CRPF, Senapati today.
The initiative was undertaken by 109 Battalion, CRPF, Senapati with an aim to distribute daily use essential commodities at subsidized rates for the people of the district in view of the prevailing State unrest since the past 16 months.
The subsidiary canteen was opened in the presence of Nimmi Azingwungshi Khamrang, MCS, Addl Deputy Commissioner, Senapati; Lunguiba Thangal, MCS, SDO, Senapati and Purul; Govind Prasad Uniyal, Commandant, 109 Battalion, CRPF, second-in-command Anil Kumar and Assistant Commandant A Visapunii.
Similarly, another subsidiary canteen was opened at Hawa Mahal of Moirang Police Station by 32 Bn CRPF where 36 different essential commodities were sold at reasonable prices from 9 am to 1 pm today.
Around 50 people visited the canteen.
At DC Bishnupur Mini Secretariat Complex, the 8 Bn CRPF also sold essential commodities to the people today.
It is worth noting that Aadhar cards are mandatory to buy items at the KPKBs and everyday the civilians will be assigned a monetary limit onthe amount of items they can purchase.
Central forces cannot make purchases here.
