Assam Rifles Official Language Implementation Committee meeting held

Imphal, June 14 2024: Assam Rifles Official Language Implementation Committee meeting was held on Friday at HQ DGAR, Laitkor, Shillong under the chairmanship of Major General JS Bainsla, SM, Additional Director General Assam Rifles.

According to a release issued by PRO HQ IGAR(South), the meeting was attended by Principal Staff Officers of Directorate General Assam Rifles, Head of Branches and Commandants of local units.

During the meeting, reports were given by all members regarding implementation of Official Language Policy in their offices and Agenda Points were discussed.

The Chairman of the Committee inspired all the officers to increase the use of Hindi in their day to day work.

He also emphasised on implementing Hindi through motivation and encouragement.

Further, the Chairman asserted that Hindi noting/ drafting incentive schemes should be introduced in all offices.

The meeting was conducted by Asitkamal, Hindi Officer and Member Secretary of the Committee.
