A Govt of Manipur order issued today by the Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution Department has informed that petrol and diesel would be on sale for the public consumers, commercial vehicles, school transporters and agriculture machines/motors at various outlets in all the districts.
Inspite of the official notification, an IOC source conveyed that sale of petrol/diesel tomorrow would be impossible for tankers have not been loaded from the fuel depot till late evening today.
Belated issuance of the order has been cited as the reason for inability to provide fuel to the consumers.

The source also said efforts are being made to load the tankers tomorrow after which a joint meeting with pump owners would decide when to distribute the allotted quantity.
As per the order, petrol to general public would be sold at Tiddim Service station-Tiddim Road, Emo Filling Station-Yumnam Leikai (Imphal West); porompat Service Station, Singh & Co - Mantripukhri (IE); Th Sorojini Service Station - Khangabok (Thoubal); Nambol Service Station (Bishnupur); Tuibong Service Station (Ccpur); United Brothers - Kangpokpi (Senapati); Namri KSK - Tamei (Tamenglong); Moreh Agency House (Chandel); and KV Service - Hundung (Ukhrul).
Diesel will be available at konsam Oil Agency - Canchipur, PCTC - Khoyathong (IW); PG Petroleum - Chingmeirong, Manipur Highway Service Station - Khabam Lamkhai (IE); Ksh Beikul Singh & Sons - Kakching (Thoubal); Motor Service Station - Moirang (Bishnupur); H Suakhun & Sons (CCpur); J&D Oil Agency (Senapati); Honka & sons (Tamenglong); and S Mani Filling Station - Kakching Lamkhai (Chandel).
While school vans/buses are informed to procure diesel at BE North AOC the order enlisted BB & Co (Sangaiprou), Kusum Service Station (Konung Mamang), S Mani Filling Centre (kakching Lamkhai), Keramat & Sons (yairipok), Yumnam Oil Service (Wabagai), Bitej Gasoline (Bishnupur) and Tuibong Service Station (Ccpur) as fuel outlets where diesel would be sold for agricultural purpose.
Meanwhile, the Department order said M/s CR Nicholas, Chandel has been excluded from fuel provision as a complaint has been received from the district's Deputy Commissioner while M/s PCTC (Khoyathong) and M/s Highway Petroleum (Tera) have not been allotted petrol and diesel respectively as there are enquiries pending against them for adulteration of fuel at the earliest occasion.
