Senapati, June 16, 2010:
The agitating Naga Students' Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has stated that it would take a decision on whether to lift the blockade or not only when all the Naga Students' Federation (NSF) leaders come back from New Delhi, reports NNN.
'We can take a decision on the blockade only when the NSF leaders return from New Delhi", said ANSAM vice president Souni Khaa, adding, 'Since ANSAM is the subordinate body of NSF, we cannot take decision by ourselves over the matter'.
ANSAM has been imposing blockade since April 12 in protest against the District Council elections under the Manipur (Hill Areas) District Council Act of 2008.
