Christmas spirit reverberates at MPBC

Imphal, December 26 2024: Commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, the Mao-Poumai Baptist Church celebrated Christmas with gaiety, pomp and show today at the premises of the Church located at Langol, Imphal.

The central theme of the Christmas worship service was based on love, peace, forgiveness and reconciliation which is the essence of Christmas celebrations.

Special features of the Christmas service included Bible quiz, singing of carols and special numbers presented by Christmas choirs, namely, Silver Bells, The Three Kings, The Bethlehem Choir, The First Noel and The Vanguard, among others.

Games and sports were organised during the day time for both the young and old.

Additionally, a social gathering was held in the evening filled with dance performances, songs, dramas and skits as entertainment.

The Church also invited neighbours and friends from other faiths for a community feast as a gesture of brotherhood, oneness, love and unity.

The spirit of Christmas, greetings, love and prayer for peace reverberated across the gathering.
