Thoubal, July 07 2025: The Progressive United Clubs Organisation (PUCO), an apex body of Khongjom circle clubs observed its foundation day today along with the 1st PUCO Meritorious Award distribution programme at Tekcham Primary School.

The event was attended by Democratic People's Front, president and IRE Groups of Institution Wangjing, founder Principal Dr Narengbam Rajivkumar, All Thoubal District United Clubs Organisation (ATDUCO), advisor Laishram Subhachandra, ATDUCO president Rajen Leishangthem, PUCO president Rajen Khuman, Sapam GP chairperson, Yumnam Landhoni Devi, Tekcham GP chairperson, Langpoklakpam Dhamenti Devi, and 10-Langathel Zilla Parishad, chairperson Thingbaijam Ibocha as presidium members.

As part of the programme, meritorious students of Khongjom circle who excelled in the Class X and Class XII examinations were honoured and feted with mementos, citations and cash prizes as encouragement for their achievements.

The founding members of PUCO were also honoured by presenting traditional shawls for their contribution.
