Imphal, May 25 2025: Dr IK Muivah (IPS), YK Sailas Thangal (IFS) and Lucas L Kamsuan (CSS) were conferred Honorary Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris causa) degrees at the 29th Convocation Program of Chil Chil Global University held at Kanglatongbi today.

Dr John Kim, International Chancellor from South Korea, awarded the Honorary Doctorate degrees to YK Sailas Thangal, Additional Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs and Ambassador designate to Kazakhstan, Dr IK Muivah, Additional Director General of Manipur Police and Lucas Kamson, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Finance, for their long outstanding leadership and work in social service.

It is worth noting that this marks Dr IK Muivah's second Honorary PhD degree.
