Training on e-NAM and Model APLM Act conducted

Manipur Small Farmers' Agri-Business Consortium (MSFAC), Imphal in association with Iramdam United Food Producer Company Limited (IUFP) Kakching jointly organized a one-day training programme on 'Electronic National Agriculture Market (e-NAM) and Model Agriculture Produce and Livestock Market (APLM) Act for Enhancing Agricultural Produces' under the supervision of National Institute of Agriculture Marketing (NIAM), Jaipur at Kakching Garden Training Hall, Kakching Uyok Ching today.
Speaking at the occasion, Doctor Zeshmarani Sarangthem, Senior Scientist and Head KVK, Thoubal said that new technologies continues to help enhance the income of so many people including the farmers, enterpreneurs etc, and if any interested persons who wish to know more can contact the scientists at KVK Thoubal to discuss their problems.
KVK, Thoubal will extend all possible help to clear their doubts.
During the training programme, which was attended by 50 trainees including both male and female trainees, Dr A Tarajit, Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) (Extension Education) KVK, Bishnupur spoke at length on 'Importance of Market Intelligence and Challenges in Agricultural Marketing System' in the technical session while Dr Th Motilal, SMS, (Agri Extension) KVK, Chandel spoke in detail about 'Scope of empowering farmers through Agricultural Produces and Livestock Marketing (APLM) Act'.
Rosnikumar Yambem, Managing Director, Globizs Software Company spoke on 'Importance of Financial management in running successful Agri-Business' while Dr Zeshmarani Sarangthem, Senior Scientist and Head KVK, Thoubal deliberated on 'Bokshi Piggery System for increasing farm income'.
